Wise Words for Inspired Leadership

Wise Words for Inspired Leadership

The role of leader is prestigious, and it comes with great responsibility. The Lakeside Events leadership training program teaches us how to find the motivation needed to guide people to success. The experiences of others are some of our favorite sources of inspiration. Here are some of their most powerful lessons:

  • Jim Rohn: According to Rohn, “The challenge of leadership is to be strong but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not a bully; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor, but without folly.” It’s a delicate balance, but embracing just the right amount of each of these qualities earns the admiration of others. In fact, our management is powered by fortitude, compassion, brazenness, humility, confidence, and lightheartedness.
  • Woodrow Wilson: Lakeside Events is a purpose-driven company, so we know the importance of finding meaning in our work and in our lives. As Wilson asserted, “You are not here merely to make a living. You are here to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.”

These inspirational messages help us develop our own leadership philosophies. Follow Lakeside Events on Twitter, where we discuss the other accomplished individuals that motivate us.
